Cornet

I do Cornet lessons every Thursday. On Fridays I do Band  which is practising the Cornet and we play some games.my favourite peace is ode to joy which you can hear below.

On my birthday, we went to a hawk conservancy  https://hawk-conservancy.digitickets.co.uk/tickets and I got so close to birds I had to duck (get it?) My dad almost got his hat taken off by a vulture ha ha ha. They chose me and another  boy to stand in the middle  of a flying arena. I had no  idea what I was going to do then an Owl flew between us. How to make Rocky Road

How to Make Rocky Road Ingredients you will need  are: 200g digestive biscuits (Rich Tea can also be used) 135g butter or margarine 200g dark chocolate (we always use the cheapest dark chocolate we can find and it always tastes great!)  2-3 tbsp golden syrup 100g mini marshmallows (chopped regular marshmallows work too) icing sugar, to dust (not essential) Optional (up to 100g) raisins, dried cranberries or any dried fruit nuts popcorn honeycomb broken into pieces  (RECOMMENDED!) Equipment you will need: Hand soap and towel, Saucepan, Spoon, Kitchen scales, rolling pin, food grade plastic bag, baking tin approx A4 paper in size (200 x 300 mm ish), dishcloth, tea towel, washing up liquid

cub camp

On the weekend I did a camp for cubs to get new badges at the village hall. First I played some games then I looked at maps and then I did a hike to Benson lock  then to castle  gardens then back to the village hall. After that we made posters about history in Walingford and Crowmarsh. Then we made Lego models and then we made  a campfire and sung some songs we also roasted marshmallows. Then we played instruments (if we had them) . Finally we went to sleep. (they did feed us)
